Schon seit einigen Jahren sind die Monate Oktober und November f\u00fcr mich ein Synonym f\u00fcr Hektik und Stress. Ich habe Abgabetermine im B\u00fcro einzuhalten und auch sonst m\u00fcssen noch viele Sachen vor der “Winterpause” gekl\u00e4rt, bearbeitet und abgerechnet werden.
\nTrotzdem bin ich mit meinem Cardigan gut vorw\u00e4rts gekommen. – Bis jetzt. Im Prinzip fehlen jetzt nur noch die \u00c4rmel.
\nWenn, ja wenn mir endlich eine M\u00f6glichkeit einfallen w\u00fcrde, wie ich das Ding abketten k\u00f6nnte ohne das sich der Rand massiv aufrollt.
\nIm Muster wird ein ICord vorgeschlagen. Funktioniert nicht. Weder locker noch fest gestrickt, noch mit einer kleineren Nadelst\u00e4rke. – Ich habe es \u00fcbrigens auch mit mehr kraus gestrickten Reihen als angegeben ausprobiert.
\nDann kam\u00a0 ich auf die glorreiche Idee einfach einen Rollrand anzustricken. Der tut, was er soll, allerdings rollt sich die Jacke ein richtig gro\u00dfes St\u00fcck weit ein. Weiter als gew\u00fcnscht.
\nGestern hatte ich dann die Faxen dicke und zur Beruhigung habe ich erst einmal eine M\u00fctze angeschlagen. Mir ist n\u00e4mlich aufgefallen, dass ich Mitte n\u00e4chster Woche eine brauche…<\/p>\n

For me October and November are a synonym for stress and rush since several years. I have deadlines to meet at the office and a ton of other things has to be resolved, handled and to invoiced before the holiday season starts (and in my job it starts by the beginning of December – unofficially).
\nDespite that I made progress on my Cardigan. – Well until the other day. There are only two things (besides finishing of course) to do: Knit and cast of the edges and knit the sleeves. Sounds easy? I’d agree if it wouldn’t be for the edging to annoy me.
\nThe instructions say to knit an ICord as the edging but that won’t work with my cardigan. The whole thing rolls up like no good. I tried to change the tension and the needle size, I knitted more garter stitch rows as given in the pattern.
\nThen I thought about a simple rolled edge. Well, it does what it should – but still way more than it should.
\nSo yesterday I had enough. I put everything aside and started a Beret to calm down and after I notices that I’ll need a hat by next week…<\/em><\/p>\n
